This Women’s History Month (WHM) we will dedicate our community service to a women’s specific need. Women’s products are not affordable for many. Our women community members who are unhoused can really use the supplies that are essential in a woman’s life to keep her safe, and sanitary.

Our 5 for five challenge asks that those participating in purchasing products, or by making a $5 incremental donation for products, also share with 5 others they know and ask them to do the same. “For people living in extreme poverty around the world, access to basic needs such as food, water, shelter and medical care is a daily struggle. In addition to this, women face another challenge — access to menstrual products like pads and tampons. In fact, 1 million women worldwide cannot afford sanitary products. This issue, called “period poverty,” is one that many people and organizations are trying to combat.”
