Black History Month 2022

The Black HerStory Project

This Black History Month is dedicated to HER Story; celebrating black women authors and writers who have made an impact in their community locally, domestically, or internationally. We present this project as an opportunity for our students to research and learn about a black woman who has made an impact through the intersection of Art and Literature.

Through the art of storytelling, our students will create presentations to compete for a $ GRAND PRIZE.

GAWI students may sign up to join the project Jan. 14 - Jan. 27. All those who enter within our registration guideline will receive a Project Pack, so it’s important to register early. Further details will be sent after registration is received including judge consultations. If you’d like to learn more about upcoming projects and events, join us and subscribe.
