This Black History Month we will engage with the amazing storytelling of the arts. We invite our teens to enjoy a multi media exhibit followed by a discussion with a special guest. We are happy to collaborate with this intentional experience, a great launch to our new series, Roots to Empowerment.

The Roots to Empowerment Series is a collaborative effort between The Grace and Wisdom Institute and The InfluenceHers Foundation to empower teens of African descent through leadership, wellness, and cultural connection. The year-long series of workshops and events will culminate in a transformative trip to Kenya in 2026, where teens will participate in service-based projects, explore a new country, and connect with their roots.
